100% Hunter Valley Cabernet Franc sourced from a single vineyard in Pokolbin. Vegan friendly.

LOOK FOR:

Aromas of raspberries and violets with a vibrant palate and plush tannins.

DRINK WITH:

Roast pork, duck pancakes or lamb gyros. 

THE TECHNICAL STUFF: 

The 2021 vintage had us planning to make "The Little Circus" once more but due to fruit availability, this wasn't possible. This left us with the most amazing Cabernet Franc fruit we couldn’t resist making into a wine. The fruit was machine harvested and had a long cool fermentation period in stainless steel to maximise fruit flavour and aromas. It was then transferred to 2-year-old French oak puncheons for 8 months to add texture to the palate. The final wine has the aromas of crushed raspberries, with a fresh fruity palate and subtle tannins. 
Drink now or cellar for 5-10 years.

Although based in the Hunter, we love expressing the individual characteristics of different locations. We source quality grapes from many stunning wine-growing regions in Australia to create wines that reflect the vineyard from which they came. All of our wines are handmade in small batches, ensuring that we maintain a high level of control throughout the winemaking process. 
In 2021, we have for the 3rd year in a row, been selected as a finalist in the Young Gun of Wine awards and after taking out the "Danger Zone" award for creative winemaking in 2019 we are again humbled to be recognised as a producer pushing the winemaking boundaries not in the Hunter Valley but also Australian wine. 

OUR WINEMAKING PHILOSOPHY IS SIMPLE: TO CREATE UNIQUE WINES TO BE ENJOYED WITH GREAT FOOD AND GREAT FRIENDS.
