Flower Thief, A different approach to Sauvignon Blanc
Done in the style of Sancerre with an Aus twist
Granitic Quartz Soils at 530m Altitude
Nose: Herbal, Anise, Chamomile, Rich Fruit
Palate: This dry yet complex and unexpected wine starts with a mix of jasmine and nutmeg, a mid palate of fruit salad with meyer lemon and charantais melon finishing on a brioche with lingering fruity acidity.
Notes: Melon, Nuttiness, Brioche, Herbal. This wine is extremely Vibrant and Juicy and hard to peg down. It is truly alive, with loads of Grip and Length.
How was it made: Picked with 10% botrytis and left to soak. Spontaneously fermented in small format oak to develop a creamy texture. bottled with around 3g/L residual sugar
All hand made,hand bottled and labelled with minimal sulphur used.
