2022 Scintilla Nightfall Clarete
Red berries, fresh beetroot, and rhubarb, Lemon Snapple and peachy cream. Perfect for balmy summer nights.
When Nightfall comes, Clarete comes out to play. A blend of red and white makes a pink with a twist. Tempranillo carefully co-fermented with Chardonnay on skins to bring out colour, structure, texture, and flavour. Aged in old French oak barrels on lees for complexity with some additional barrels blended in for balance.

James Madden, founder of Scintilla Wines, saw a gap in the market for quality natural wines in Australia while working as a sommelier in Perth and Melbourne. In an effort to fill this gap, he decided to create Scintilla Wines.
The company works closely with small, organic growers in South Australia to source the best grapes for their production. Their wines mimic the high-acidity, semi-oxidative style of wines from the natural wine mecca of Jura, France.
