Fun Fact - A true piquette. Water added to unfermented grape skins. Unfiltered, unfined, rustic.
Winemaking Info - The Grenache was used to make rose. We added water to it straight after it was pressed and left it to ferment on skins for about a week. Outside of that, it is pretty much like any other Pet Nat!
When I was a kid in the country, my mum would make punch in a big plastic punch bowl that lived in the shed and had matching plastic glasses (of course). I can remember canned pineapple, apricot nectar and creaming soda all went in the mix, along with a bunch of other things and a few chopped strawberries that would float around on top. This takes me right back there. I served it over ice with a slice of jalapeno and mint. Delicious! -Â @dave.likeswine
